Simple Things You Can Do To Live a Better Life

Do you desire a higher quality of life? Do you wish to benefit others? So, what are you doing daily to become that individual?

Do not offer me the excuse that you are too busy to complete the task.

Bill Gates, Tony Robbins, and Oprah Winfrey have the same 168 hours each week that you have, and they not only improve their own lives but also the lives of others.
Imagine how much better your life could be if you took just three hours out of your hectic schedule to design it.

Start with these three recommendations:

1. Sleeping 7 to 8 hours per night

Sleeping seven to eight hours a night is the recommended amount for most people.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, persistent sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, and narcolepsy affect 40 million Americans.

Insufficient sleep can cause major performance concerns, including:

  • Lack of sexual interest.
  • Depression’s signs and symptoms.
  • Bad memory.

The author of The Sleep Revolution, Ariana Huffington, notes, “We are in the midst of a sleep deprivation catastrophe.” Are you having trouble falling asleep? To combat poor sleep, you can attempt the following hacks:

  • Take a warm bath prior to bedtime.
  • The bedroom should be as dark as a cave.
  • Avoid using your smartphone in blue light mode.
  • You should commit to sleeping seven to eight hours per night for 21 days.

2. Reading a book a week

How many books on average have you read? In 2015, 27 percent of American adults, according to Pew Internet Research, did not read a single book.

Because books describe the experiences of people we don’t know, places we’ve never seen, and worlds we can only imagine, according to Jarry Lee of BuzzFeed.

Yes, reading a book every week may seem unattainable, and I understand — there are not enough hours in the day. However, how much time do you spend watching television?

Nielsen reports that the average American watches nearly five hours of television every day.

I have found five hours in your busy schedule for you to read a book. And what are the benefits of reading one book every week?

The more you read, the greater your vocabulary will be. Everything you read provides you with greater knowledge.

Try it. Read one book per week for four weeks, beginning with Brendon Burchard’s “The Motivation Manifesto.” Brendon will not only motivate you to read more, but also to improve your life.

3. Get frequent exercise.

Do you get fatigued throughout the middle of the day?

Have you ever been exhausted by simple daily tasks like grocery shopping or housework?

Contrary to popular belief, the 150 minutes of weekly activity recommended by the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans can increase your energy level. How?

The stress-relieving, muscle-strengthening, and endurance-boosting effects of exercise allow the body to perform other physical tasks or activities more effectively.
