5 Things That High Achievers Don’t Do
We can take two different approaches to life: we can aim high or we can aim low.
If you usually aim low but want to shoot higher, the good news is that you can always grow and change.
Part of changing and growing is becoming the person you want to be.
If you want to be a high achiever, all you have to do is put in the same amount of work and align yourself with the same energy.
1- Caring for what other people think of them.
You could spend days thinking about what everyone thinks of you, but at the end of those days, you wouldn’t have learned anything.
What other people think about you is not your fault. And to be honest, it’s none of your business what other people think about you.
Focus on how you feel about yourself and be the best person you can be. Let the rest go.

2- Not following a schedule.
This may make a lot of people roll their eyes, but having a routine has a lot of good points.
Not only does having a routine help you adjust to important tasks that need to be done, but it also gives you a baseline for where you can fit in other tasks or even just time for yourself.

3- Trying to find an excuse.
Those that achieve a lot don’t believe in offering excuses.
Instead, they give each decision a great deal of thought before acting on the basis of what they feel to be the most beneficial course of action.
They are aware that if you make excuses, you are simply serving to minimize the significance of your actions.

4- Choosing to engage in activities that they are aware of will not bring them pleasure.
When a buddy calls you and asks you to go somewhere, but you would rather be working towards your goals, it might be difficult to say no to the friend’s request, especially if the friend calls you.
High achievers, on the other hand, are aware of the times when they should decline an opportunity.
They are well aware that in order to realize their ambitions, the sacrifice will be required on their part.
5- Lacking faith in their own abilities.
Nobody will believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself first.
And even if they do, if you don’t believe in yourself already, you probably won’t let their support do anything for you.
Even if they do believe in you, you probably won’t. Everything begins on the inside first.
