Strategy #1: Write down what you want to accomplish.

Making a five-year plan might sound like a cliche, but it does help you focus on your goals for the next few years.

Do you want to go back to school, start a group, or go to a different country? Before you can plan to do something, you have to know what you want to do.

I think it’s important to remember and write down all the important things you like to do, where you want to go, and what you want to learn.

I did it, and it really helped me figure out which of my big goals I wanted to do.

As soon as you finish this step, you can start making moves and figuring out how to make it all happen.

Strategy 2: Look back on your life and find your passion

Find your passion. Look for something you’re good at already.

On your way to success, passion will give you confidence and excite you.

Think about what you can do that doesn’t always feel like work but could be turned into work.

Passion and success go hand in hand in a big way.

It’s something that can give you that natural drive and set you on the path to happiness and success.

Don’t be afraid to follow your passions all the way. If something makes you feel this way, it’s a sure sign that it’s your passion.

You feel good about yourself and what you can do when you do it.

If you can’t figure out what you’re passionate about, look for patterns in what you’ve done in the past.

Maybe you can turn a hobby you already enjoy into a job. Or maybe your past jobs tell us something about who you are as a person.

Volunteer work often shows what a person cares about and how willing they are to go the extra mile for it.

Strategy 3: Think about what you value.

When making a life plan, you should start with your values, what’s important to you, and the things you want to keep in your life.

Do you care about your family but don’t spend enough time with them because you’re working too much at a job you hate?

Do you care about being physically fit, but you watch too much TV instead?

People often value things in their lives that don’t do much for them, but they don’t realize it.

Make sure you use your time well, think about what you value most in life, and pay attention to how you act in real life based on what you value most.

Make sure to add things that support these values.

Strategy #4: Come up with a plan

Let yourself have big dreams. Think about what a day in your ideal life would look like.

Think about the parts of your life you want to improve.

This can be in different parts of your life, like your finances, career, or health. It might have some weak spots that you want to fix.

Think about how you will measure your progress and what success means to you. Say what you think success means.

Strategy 5: Don’t forget about your mistakes.

Most plans tell you to start with what you’re good at.

Things you have done in your life, never made a mistake at, are very good at, and so on.

But that isn’t the best way to look at life.

The truth is that we all make mistakes, and it happens more often than we’d like to admit.

We need to be more open to the fact that our mistakes will help us grow in the long run. Failure shows that we’re making an effort.

If you start with your mistakes, you’ll know right away which path you want to change in the future.

For one thing, failures show you which path you’re really working on.

Repeated failures in the same direction show your determination.

On the other hand, if you keep failing even after a lot of tries and changes, you should give up.

When you are aware of your mistakes, you will have a clear path to follow right away.
